Occupy Sacramento

California has some of the worst statistics: highest incarceration, second highest foreclosure rates (with more on the way) and we are way on the bottom for educational spending. As a state with the wealth of a small country and the center of the American film industry, we are a state in which to find ample example of the absurdities of our time. Starving people in the streets of Hollywood.

I understand we've been struggling for participation. LET'S MAKE A LIBRARY. I think this is one of the most radical ideas to come out of this movement so far. These places become incredible community zone that can increase out communicability for organizing. Around good books too. It is a way for thousands of people to qualitatively participate.

And it requires a structure of some kind which the council will oppose...and nothing get's media like that...
